For service businesses

Job tickets and repair tracking your customers can check themselves

Open a ticket when the device comes in, technicians update it from their phones, customers see the status on LINE, and you know which jobs are stuck and which parts to order.

In short

NICH TEC builds systems for repair shops, service centres and field technician teams: job tickets and status tracking, repair status on LINE for customers, technician dispatch, parts and quotes, and scheduled maintenance reminders.

What repair and service businesses deal with

Status calls

Customers call several times a day to ask if their repair is done, while the technician is working on it.

Paper tickets go missing

Handwritten intake slips get lost or can’t be read, and nobody knows what came in or what was wrong.

Parts run out mid-job

Nobody knows what’s left in stock, so jobs sit waiting for parts.

Past customers don’t return

There’s no reminder for the next air-con clean or service, so customers go elsewhere.

What we can build for service businesses

Job tickets and intake

Record the fault, photos and accessories received, then print the intake slip or send it on LINE.

Self-service status

Customers see repair status and quotes to approve in LINE, with no need to call.

Technician and field dispatch

Schedule technicians and send jobs with address and map. Technicians close jobs with photos and a customer signature.

Parts and quotes

Deduct parts per job, warn when stock is low, and send quotes customers can approve.

Warranties and maintenance reminders

Keep warranty end dates and remind customers when the next clean or service is due.

Repair reports

Open jobs, average repair time, revenue per technician and the most common faults.

Messages the system sends on LINE go through your LINE Official Account. They count toward its monthly message quota, beyond the free quota LINE charges for a bigger plan, and they reach only people who have added your account as a friend.

Build your own, or buy off the shelf?

We don’t tell every business to build. If something off the shelf does the job, we’ll say so.

When off the shelf is better value

A small repair shop with a few technicians can start with off-the-shelf job ticket software, or even a well-organised Google Sheet.

When your own system pays off

Custom fits when you have several branches or a field team, annual service contracts, or want customers to follow their job in your own LINE account.

Timeline and price

Job tickets with customer status on LINE is usually a medium project, around 6-12 weeks. The price depends on the details, and we estimate it for free after a 30-minute call.

Questions people ask

How do customers check the status?

They get a link or message on LINE when they drop the device off, can check the latest status any time, and get a message when it’s ready.

Do technicians have to type a lot?

No. They tap to change the status, take photos and pick parts from a list, typing only notes that matter.

Does it work for field jobs like air-con cleaning or CCTV installs?

Yes. It schedules by area and time, sends jobs with a map, and has technicians close each job with before and after photos.

Can it issue tax invoices?

It issues quotes and receipts. For electronic tax invoices (e-Tax Invoice), your business first registers with the Revenue Department, then we connect to a Revenue Department approved provider, or pass the data to accounting software that issues them.
