What is included in managed IT services?

A managed IT engagement covers day-to-day operations: helpdesk for your staff, monitoring and alerting on servers and network, patch management, backup verification, endpoint protection, and vendor coordination. Everything is delivered against a written SLA with response times stated in hours, not adjectives.

The distinction that matters is between managed services and break-fix support. Break-fix means you call when something is broken and pay for the fix, which gives your provider no financial reason to stop things breaking. A fixed monthly fee inverts that: every incident we prevent is an incident we do not have to attend. That alignment is most of what you are actually buying.

We publish what sits inside each tier rather than making you extract it during a sales call. If a proposal you are comparing does not state response times in hours, it does not contain a commitment.

How onboarding works

We assess your environment first, document what we find, then run a parallel period alongside your current arrangement before taking over. You receive the documentation regardless of whether you continue with us — it describes your systems, not ours.

Most providers treat onboarding as an administrative formality. It is the phase that determines whether the following two years go well. An environment nobody has documented is an environment where every incident becomes an investigation, and where the knowledge lives in one engineer's memory rather than in a system you own.

The parallel period matters for the same reason it matters in a migration: it lets problems surface while your previous arrangement is still in place. Cutting over on day one is faster and considerably riskier.

  • Discovery — inventory of servers, endpoints, network, licences, vendors and access
  • Documentation — written environment record, handed to you as a deliverable
  • Remediation plan — what we found that needs fixing, prioritised, with costs
  • Parallel run — we operate alongside your current setup while gaps close
  • Handover — full transition, with your escalation contacts confirmed in writing

Support in Thai and English, from Chiang Mai

Our engineers are based in Chiang Mai and support your team in both Thai and English. On-site visits within the city are included in Standard and Enterprise tiers; other provinces are quoted for travel. Remote support covers all of Thailand.

Bilingual support is not a convenience feature. When a system is down and someone is under pressure, they describe the problem most accurately in their first language — and accuracy at that moment directly shortens resolution time. A helpdesk that operates fluently in both loses less in translation.

Local presence matters for the failures remote support cannot fix: hardware, cabling, power, and the network equipment nobody can reach when the network is the thing that is down. Ask any prospective provider where their engineers physically sit, because several market locally while dispatching everyone from Bangkok.

PDPA and compliance obligations

As your provider we act as a data processor under the PDPA while you remain the controller, so our handling of your data is your legal exposure. We sign a data processing agreement as standard, and Standard and Enterprise tiers include the technical controls the PDPA expects — access review, audit logging, and encryption.

If a prospective provider does not raise the data processing agreement themselves, that tells you something about how seriously they treat it. The obligation exists whether or not anyone mentions it, and it lands on you.

For organisations pursuing ISO 27001, the Enterprise tier includes a readiness programme. The controls overlap heavily with PDPA, so running them as one workstream costs substantially less than treating them as two projects.

Locations & Coverage

We provide coverage across 21 key provinces in Thailand, with on-site engineers and remote-first support models tailored to each region.
